What exactly is NewSelfTalk?+

A small, private app for writing and recording short affirmations and then listening to them in your own voice, layered with calm ambience. Think of it as a voice journal that plays back.

Do I have to use my own voice?+

No. you can also render any text to audio with a choice of narrator voices, including soft-spoken, whispered, and a few stylized options. Most people end up mixing both.

Is it free?+

The starter library and recording tools are free. A small subscription unlocks unlimited AI-rendered voices, longer sessions, and the full ambient library.

Where are my recordings stored?+

On your device, by default. You can choose to back up encrypted copies to iCloud.

Is there an Android version?+

Not yet. NewSelfTalk is currently iOS only. Android is on the roadmap; drop your email below and we'll let you know when it lands.

Does this actually work?+
